Job summary

WSP Africa seeks a Strategic Asset Management Lead to establish and grow its advisory capability across Africa. You will shape asset strategy, portfolio optimization, lifecycle planning, and risk management while collaborating with owners, operators, and public sector entities to deliver long-term value.

You will build a high-performing team, establish governance, and integrate with Sustainability, Digital, and Asset Intelligence units to strengthen WSP's market leadership in asset management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven leadership experience within strategic asset management or infrastructure.
• Experience delivering strategic asset management advisory services.
• Track record of building client relationships and winning consulting work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of WSP Africa's Strategic Asset Management service line.
• Develop and maintain advisory methodologies, tools, frameworks, and service offerings.
• Drive ISO 55000 alignment and best practices adoption across engagements.
• Oversee governance, quality assurance, and technical excellence across the service line.
• Lead major advisory commissions and ensure client satisfaction and value delivery.
