Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a skilled professional to drive account development and data-driven sales strategies in Pietermaritzburg. The role focuses on research-based insights, policy interpretation, and high-quality client interaction to resolve queries and support business growth.

You will prepare analytics reports, manage customer relationships, and contribute to financial advice delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated (NQF Level 5 or equivalent).
• Experience in data analysis and reporting is preferred.
• Familiarity with policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research using primary data sources and extract information for theme analysis.
• Provide specialist advice on interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
• Edit documents to organizational style and prepare information for publication.
• Prepare and coordinate completion of various data and analytics reports.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for existing accounts.
• Handle the financial advice process within a client segment, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Sell simple products and services following standard protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and regulatory codes.
• Develop capabilities through assessment, training and external accreditation.
• Grow technical expertise and industry best practices through ongoing education.
