Placements24 is seeking a Content Strategist & Media Liaison for its George, Western Cape team to craft engaging narratives and strengthen media partnerships, shaping the brand's digital footprint.

You will develop content strategies across blogs, social, and websites, manage the editorial calendar, and collaborate with marketing, design, and editorial teams to ensure brand consistency and impactful storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.
• 4+ years in content creation, digital marketing, or public relations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective content strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading with a strong portfolio.
• Experience building and managing media relationships; SEO & CMS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement content strategies for digital and traditional media.
• Create engaging content including blog posts, articles, social media updates, and website copy.
• Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and media influencers.
• Pitch stories and content ideas to media outlets to secure coverage.
