Job summary

Sabenza IT Recruitment is partnering with a client in Centurion to hire a Storage Specialist. The role focuses on maintaining Storage, SAN and Compute hardware, and implementing best practices for disks and networking across enterprise systems.

The candidate will lead performance analysis, troubleshooting, and data protection strategies while leveraging HPE 3PAR/MSA and Brocade SAN expertise in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Undergraduate IT degree/diploma or progress towards degree/diploma.
• Experience with multiple hardware vendors and certifications.
• ITIL certification is required.
• A+ and N+ certifications are required.
• 5+ years in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with HPE 3PAR StoreServ, HPE MSA and Brocade SAN.
• Experience with SAN fabrics and physical servers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Storage, SAN and Compute hardware following OEM best practices.
• Design, implement and deploy shared resources such as disks and networking.
• Perform performance analysis and troubleshooting for critical systems.
• Develop data backup measures and data recovery strategies.

Storage Specialist

Our client, leaders in the Road Transport Solutions space, has a permanent venture for a Storage Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware by providing OEM good practice through designing, implementing, and deploying shared system resources, like disks and networking. Responsibilities include performance analysis, troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in IT
• Various hardware vendor experience and certifications
• ITIL certification
• A+ and N+ Certification
• 5+ years’ experience in an Enterprise IT Environment
• Experience managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ I and II, or certified
• Experience implementing MSA Storage Solutions, or certified
• Brocade SAN Enterprise Experience, or certified
