Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Receiving Clerk for the Boardwalk Store in the Eastern Cape Region. You will ensure efficient receiving and packing of stock in line with SOPs and customer needs within the store.

Essential qualifications include Grade 12, computer literacy, strong numerical skills, and willingness to work retail hours. Advantageous experience in receiving/retail/FMCG is noted. The role involves stock verification, invoicing, returns processing, and assisting the Receiving Manager.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of receiving procedures and administration.
• Strong command of English language.
• Effective interaction with suppliers, management, reps and staff.
• Sound analytical skills for stock control and discrepancies.
• Good time management and ability to handle physical work.

Responsabilités

• Verify, scan and capture goods received for the store.
• Receive warehouse goods and invoices in accordance with policy.
• Return unordered or damaged goods and complete credit notes.
• Verify deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
• Ensure goods delivered match invoiced quantities and conditions.
• Assist Receiving Manager with warehouse claims and logs.
• Maintain flow of stock receipts and ensure same-day receipting.
