About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Sports Data Analyst to join their remote team, contributing to the strategic insights of their sports analytics division. This role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing vast datasets from various sporting events and player performances to uncover trends, identify performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to coaching staff and management. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of sports data from diverse sources (e.g., game statistics, player tracking, biometric data).

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Sports Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on sports data.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data visualization.
