Job summary

Standard Bank of South Africa Limited is seeking an experienced Integration Application Support professional based in Johannesburg. The role focuses on supporting production and non-production areas within the IT environment, with an emphasis on integration applications for Private Banking.

You will contribute to release cadence and apply Agile principles while ensuring efficient use of resources and delivery of business outcomes.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Technology required.
• Experience in Technology Operations / Infrastructure Production.
• 8-10 years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks the incidents raised for Integration Level 2 Support.
• Provision of user support to achieve 100% service availability.
• Correctly diagnose, resolve, document and escalate incidents to resolution.
• Run Critsits sessions for major outages on behalf of Integration team.
• Perform event management by monitoring dashboards and system environments.
• Monitor key systems to ensure proactive availability for customers.
• Check various log files for continued processing and proactive error handling.
• Communicate system issues to clients, peers, and management clearly.
• Conduct trend analysis to identify hotspots (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
• Produce daily incident and SLA reporting.
• As SME mentor, recommend fixes and patches as advised by vendor.

To provide Integration application support, working as part of a team to support the production and non-production areas within the IT environment.Focus on support for multiple integration applications in the Private Banking area.

To support the Group Infrastructure and Operations practice in driving flow and maintaining cadence of release within the larger organisation by ensuring teams apply the Agile values and principles. He/she also provides valuable information across the practice to efficiently use resources and execute standards whilst delivering on business outcomes.
