PepsiCo in Johannesburg seeks an Instrumentation and Automation Specialist to install, calibrate, and maintain control systems and production equipment, reducing downtime and boosting plant reliability.

The role covers fault-finding, PLC programming, SCADA interfaces, and leading the maintenance team to ensure safety and quality standards are met across FMCG operations.

Formación

• N3/N4 or equivalent technical qualification.
• Relevant Instrumentation trade qualification.
• Experience in instrumentation and automation within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with PLCs, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, control loops and variable-speed drives.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Team leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

Overview

To provide specialist instrumentation and automation support by installing, calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting control systems and production equipment to minimise downtime and improve plant reliability.
