Job summary

Lightstone is seeking a highly analytical Spatial Data Analyst with statistical competency to join their data team. You will interrogate large geo datasets, perform spatial SQL and Python-based analyses, and prototype client solutions with dashboards.

You will work in a hybrid environment, leveraging Power BI and geopandas to turn complex spatial insights into actionable business outcomes for property and retail initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSc or BCom (Hons preferred) in Statistics, GIS/Geoinformatics, Econometrics or a highly quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of professional, hands-on data experience in a corporate or consulting setting.

Responsibilities

• Query, clean, and manipulate large datasets using Spatial SQL.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and build predictive/descriptive models (e.g., regression, spatial clustering).
• Create and present interactive dashboards and rapid prototypes for clients.
