Job summary

Lightstone is seeking a highly analytical Spatial Data Analyst with statistical competency to join our team, focusing on property and retail analytics. The role involves querying massive datasets, applying predictive and descriptive models, and building lightweight dashboards for client prototyping and stakeholder communication.

You will work with SQL, Python (geopandas, shapely, GDAL), and Power BI to translate complex findings into actionable business insights, in a hybrid environment across

Qualifications

• Strong stats focus within GIS/Geoinformatics or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of hands-on, data-heavy experience in corporate/consulting environments.

Responsibilities

• Data interrogation and spatial SQL work, including geographic joins and distance calculations.
• Query, clean, and manipulate large datasets; profile data to identify anomalies and trends.
• Conduct EDA and run hypothesis tests using Python; assist in building predictive/descriptive models.
• Develop quick prototypes and POC tools using Power BI or Python web frameworks for client demos.
• Present visual data concepts to clients and stakeholders to demonstrate business value.
• Design and maintain reports tracking spatial trends and model performance.
