Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants CC is seeking a Spares Picker Packer in Midrand, South Africa. The role is a permanent, full-time position with a basic salary of R 7 871 per month plus Provident Fund and a December bonus. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 and Saturday 08:00–13:00.

• Must be a South African citizen with a clean criminal background.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking: Locating items within the warehouse using picking lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking headsets.
• Quality Control: Checking items for damage or defects before they are packed.
• Packing: Selecting the appropriate box size, using protective materials (bubble wrap, air pillows), and sealing packages securely.
• Labeling: Printing and applying shipping labels and ensuring all documentation (invoices, packing slips) are included.
• Inventory Management: Updating the warehouse management system (WMS) as items are moved and assisting with stock counts.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean workspace and operating equipment like pallet jacks or trolleys safely.
