Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is recruiting for a Princess Crossing Spares Picker Packer. The role is a permanent, full-time position in Roodepoort, offering a basic salary of R 7 871 per month and a provident fund with a year-end bonus.

Responsibilities include order picking, quality control, packing, labeling, and basic inventory management. Candidates will undergo criminal background checks as part of the hiring process and must be South African citizens.

Responsibilities

• Order picking using picking lists, RF scanners or voice-picking headsets.
• Quality control to check for damage or defects before packing.
• Packing with appropriate box size and protective materials.
• Labeling including printing shipping labels and docs (invoices, packing slips).
• Inventory management and updating WMS as items move; assist stock counts.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and operate pallet jacks or trolleys safely.

Appointment: Permanent, full-time position

Salary: R 7 871 (basic salary, not negotiable)

Working hours: Working Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 to 17:00) & Saturday 08:00 - 13:00

Criminal background check verifications will be done on the successful applicant.

• Order Picking: Locating items within the warehouse using picking lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking headsets.
• Quality Control: Checking items for damage or defects before they are packed.
• Packing: Selecting the appropriate box size, using protective materials (bubble wrap, air pillows), and sealing packages securely.
• Labeling: Printing and applying shipping labels and ensuring all documentation (invoices, packing slips) is included.
• Inventory Management: Updating the warehouse management system (WMS) as items are moved and assisting with stock counts.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean workspace and operating equipment like pallet jacks or trolleys safely.
