Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is seeking a Spares Picker/Packer in South Africa. The role involves delivering packages, verifying addresses, planning routes, and ensuring secure, timely delivery while obtaining signatures and, when required, collecting payments.

A clean background and a valid code A motorbike license are mandatory. This permanent, full-time position requires working hours Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 and Saturdays 08:00–13:00.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and license verifications will be done.
• Proven experience working as a motor bike driver with references.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• The ability to work well under pressure and use GPS devices.
• Reliable and punctual person.

Responsibilities

• Picking up and delivering packages to specified locations and branch transfers.
• Verifying addresses and locations before each delivery.
• Carefully planning travel routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Securing packages to prevent damage during transit.
• Obtaining recipients' signatures upon delivery to confirm receipt.
• Collecting payments as required and ensuring correct amounts.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all packages delivered.

Legal requirements: Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background and a valid drivers license - checks will be done on shortlisted applicants.

Appointment: Permanent, full-time position

Salary: R 7 471 (basic salary, not negotiable)

Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus

Working hours: Working Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 to 17:00) & Saturday 08:00 - 13:00
