Job summary

NTU International, Pretoria, is seeking a Non-Key Expert – Space Applications Expert, Satellite Navigation & Connectivity to support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems and the development and uptake of space-based applications across Africa.

The role involves contributing to the AESPP Boost programme, leveraging Galileo/EGNOS knowledge where applicable, and collaborating with partners to strengthen Africa-EU space cooperation and connectivity initiatives.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or related field.
Excellent command of English.
French and/or Portuguese language skills are an asset.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications, satellite connectivity and/or related applications.
Minimum 4 years of experience working on satellite-navigation or connectivity applications (GNSS, SBAS, aviation, maritime, or satellite broadband).

Responsibilities

Support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS augmentation systems and satellite connectivity.
Contribute to development and uptake of space-based applications across Africa.
Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with Africa-EU space partnership objectives.
