Job summary

HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking a technically skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our Sales team in Pretoria. You will support customer engagements, develop technical solutions, and assist with proposals, tenders, and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.

The role offers opportunities to grow commercial skills within a defence/electronics environment, liaising with customers and internal teams to deliver compliant, competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years in technical, engineering, sales support or customer-facing roles.
• Exposure to defence, electronics, radar, EW or related tech is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, tenders and compliance documents.
• Deliver technical presentations and product briefings to customers.
• Support product demonstrations, evaluations and trials.
• Maintain knowledge of products, systems, competitors and markets.
• Keep sales documentation and customer data accurate and up-to-date.
