What You'll Do:

• Define and lead the software architecture strategy, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative architectural solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate project delivery.
• Assess existing technology environments and identify modernization opportunities.
• Provide architectural leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to translate business needs into effective architectural designs.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, reference architectures, and technology standards.
• Lead the design of complex applications, APIs, cloud solutions, and enterprise platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet all functional, security, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and develop architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate architectural and technical risks.
• Guide development teams on best practices, cloud-native principles, and emerging technologies such as AI.
• Support DevSecOps, CI/CD initiatives, and platform engineering for improved deployment and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including diagrams and standards documentation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure solutions are supportable and aligned with operational needs.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, technology evaluations, and modernization initiatives including cloud migration, microservices, and AI enablement.
• Mentor and coach architectural and engineering teams on best practices and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in architecture design within banking, financial services, fintech, or IT sectors.
• Strong expertise in Java and R programming languages.
• Minimum of 5 years in a solution architecture role, with demonstrated leadership.
• Excellent understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with architectural frameworks and software development methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with the following is advantageous:

• Cloud-native architectures and AI technologies.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
• Event-driven architectures and API-led integration.
