Job summary

Canadian Solar South Africa (Pty) Ltd. seeks a Sales Associate in Cape Town to support regional sales efforts. You will manage existing accounts and orders, answer leads, and negotiate terms while coordinating with internal departments to resolve objections.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in business and at least 1 year in solar sales, with strong English language skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. An international, dynamic company environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 1+ years of solar industry experience in a sales role.
• Demonstrated sales experience within the SSA region or equivalent international.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and orders as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Answer leads and negotiate prices, volume and contract terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to solve commercial, technical and/or financial objections of customers.
• Manage existing orders and follow-up on payments.
• Representation of the company's brand in front of existing and new accounts.
• Compliance with internal processes, policies, and external regulations.
