Qualifications

• Experience as a Solar Panel Installation Technician or similar electrical installation role.
• Solid understanding of solar PV systems, electrical principles and safety best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, mounting hardware, inverters, and associated electrical components on rooftops and ground-mount structures according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Perform site assessments and prepare installation areas, ensuring optimal placement and functionality of the solar system.
• Conduct electrical wiring and connections, ensuring all installations comply with local electrical codes and regulations.
• Test and commission newly installed solar systems to verify performance and ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues or system malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, and providing excellent customer service during site visits.
