Placements24 is seeking dedicated Solar Installation Technicians to join our field-based team in Port Elizabeth. You will install PV solar systems on residential and commercial rooftops, wiring and testing for safe operation, and ensuring high safety standards. Regular travel across the region is required as part of a dynamic, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solar Installation Technician or in a related electrical installation field.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with different types of solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
