Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Software Quality Engineer I for a 12-month contract in Sandton, South Africa. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing reusable automated test assets using Selenium/Appium/Healenium, RestAssured, and JMeter to assure quality of the solution and its architecture.

Candidates should have Agile concepts and development experience, automation standards, data quality assurance, and basic Java development with J2EE/Springboot.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile concepts and development (1 year).
• Knowledge of automation standards and data quality assurance (1 year).
• Awareness of data science (1 year).
• Basic Java development with J2EE/Springboot (Beginner).
• Understanding of object orientation and testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Use automation framework and predefined tools to develop reusable automated test assets.

Description:

• Use automation framework and pre-defined test tools to:
  • Inspect, analyze, design, develop, and implement reusable automated test assets.
  • Quality assure the solution and its architecture.
  • Ensure the overall quality of the solution.
• Good working knowledge of:
  • Front End and API automation.
  • Performance Testing (NFT).
• Tools include:
  • Selenium/Appium/Healenium.
  • RestAssured.
  • JMeter.
• Experience in D365 is preferable.
• Preference for onshore local SA talent based in Gauteng.
