Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a seasoned Software Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. You will drive the full SDLC, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-scope, high-quality results.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product owners and QA, and implement Agile practices to enable reliable releases and continuous improvement in a fast-paced tech hub.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software project management.
Proven experience managing complex software projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and version control systems.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from concept to deployment.
Define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications in collaboration with product teams.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
Lead and mentor software development teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Software Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions in Stellenbosch . You will manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional engineering teams.
