Placements24 is partnering with a cutting‑edge game development studio in East London, South Africa, to hire a passionate Software Engineer. You will help create immersive gaming experiences, develop core systems, and optimize performance across target platforms.

You will work with artists, designers, and engineers in a collaborative studio environment, applying C++ and major engines (Unreal Engine or Unity) to deliver polished features and scalable code.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 2+ years of professional game development experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and major game engines (Unreal Engine or Unity).
• Strong OO design and software patterns understanding.
• Experience with debugging and performance profiling.
