Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software for mission-critical offensive cyber operations, applying SAFe Agile methods to deliver secure, high-performance applications.

Candidates should have 7+ years of experience, a CS or related degree, and TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance; must be a U.S. citizen and located in NCR or San Antonio. Salary ranges from $64,000 to $128,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
