Virtustant is a remote staffing company connecting professionals in Latin America and South Africa with growing US businesses. The Software Developer will build and maintain web applications, integrations and automations for clients running their businesses remotely.

Responsibilities include developing front-end and back-end features, API integrations, bug fixes and performance improvements, plus writing clean, tested code and participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development.
• Advanced English (C1 or higher).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern framework or language (React, Node.js, Python, PHP or similar).
• Experience with SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git.
• Nice to have: AWS, Google Cloud or Azure; AI/LLM tools; mobile development.
