Job summary

Decision Inc. is seeking an experienced .NET developer to modernise applications using latest methodologies. You will design, build and integrate solutions across frontend and backend, aligning with MS best practices.

You will mentor peers and contribute to digital transformation initiatives for diverse clients. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in .NET, strong C#, and deep knowledge of SQL, EF, and identity frameworks. Experience with Azure services is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of .NET development experience with web technologies.
• Strong C# proficiency and hands-on experience with Web API, WCF, MVC, ASP.NET.
• Experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework and ORM concepts.
• Solid understanding of OOP, N-Tier, DDD and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with Identity Frameworks such as OAuth, Azure AD or ASP Identities.
• Ability to design, implement and integrate solutions across platforms.

We are looking for an experienced developer that has experience in .Net software development and is looking to modernise their approach using the latest methodologies. This candidate should be able to analyse complex business challenges and determine how these can be solved utilising Microsoft's best practices and patterns. This includes the development of new custom functionality, systems integration into external applications, custom workflow development, or the development of custom solutions in order to meet the business requirement. Solutions that you would build include front-end and back-end implementations for code.

It is advantageous that the candidate has experience in a broad range of development technologies. Also having knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of developing on the various platforms, enabling them to make informed design decisions with regard to meeting business requirements.

What will you do?

• Work with the Technical Leads in designing and building solutions using broad range of platforms, primarily .Net and .Net Core
• Designing, programming, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing and new software solutions
• Provide support and stability in existing and new solutions
• Integrate new solutions with existing systems
• Assist in providing accurate effort estimations and costings for scoped solutions
• Take ownership and assist project teams with implementing solutions
• Partake in development where necessary to ensure a project meets the quality and deadline that is expected
• Mentor team members and assist with building capability and skill

Who do you need to be?

Required:

• At least 5 years of experience in .NET development using web technologies and C#
• Experience in 1 or more of the follow web technologies: Web API, WCF (SOAP beneficial, REST essential), MVC, ASP.Net, Angular, ReactJS
• Experience in working with MS SQL for transactions and querying, Excellent understanding of Entity Framework and ORM
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts
• Strong understanding of N-Tier, DDD, SOLID
• Comfortable working with source control such as TFS or GIT, Excellent understanding of Identity Frameworks such as OAuth, Azure AD, ASP Identities
• Attention to detail

Highly advantageous:

• Experience with developing Azure solutions using Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Logic apps, etc.
• Architecting solutions to meet client requirements and budget expectations.
• Translating functional specifications to technical specifications.
