Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to work closely with our clients to design and deliver innovative, scalable technology solutions.

This is not a purely hands-off architecture role. Our Solutions Architects work directly with clients and development teams, combining strong architectural thinking with hands-on software engineering. You’ll be expected to get involved in the code while also taking ownership of the broader solution architecture and technical direction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and define end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Remain hands-on with software development and coding, particularly using .NET or Java.
• Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and production-ready solutions where required.
• Define application architecture, integration approaches, APIs, data flows, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with developers, engineering teams, and other architects to ensure solutions are effectively designed and delivered.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
• Work on client sites when required, acting as a trusted technical partner and hands-on engineering leader.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Software Engineer with significant architecture experience.
• A strong hands-on development background in .NET or Java.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level applications and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, integration, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
• Experience working directly with clients and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical and effective technical solutions.
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and supporting engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of development methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and secure software development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
