E‑Merge in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead architecture across large, strategic client implementations. You will provide technical direction, design scalable enterprise solutions, and mentor architecture teams to drive growth and governance.

The role requires deep expertise in solution and enterprise architecture, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proven track record of delivering cloud‑based, secure architectures. Permanent, on‑site position with competitive package.

• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Implementation Architecture roles.
• Proven track record leading complex software implementations and transformations.
• Strong experience designing enterprise‑grade applications, integrations, and cloud‑based solutions.
• Deep understanding of system architecture principles, API integrations, security, scalability, and performance considerations.
• Experience facilitating technical workshops and engaging with executive‑level stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience developing technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture and technical delivery of complex, strategic client implementations.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and align stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
• Produce high‑quality solution design documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for Solutions Architects and implementation teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and governance activities to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Solutions Architects through technical reviews and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Client Success teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
