Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join a dedicated team serving the Tembisa area in a hybrid capacity combining in-field community engagement with remote planning and administration. The role focuses on identifying community needs, developing targeted support programs, and linking residents with essential social services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, is registered with SACSSP, and has at least 3 years of experience in community

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify service gaps and client requirements.
• Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to engage underserved populations.
• Provide case management services including counseling, resource linkage, and advocacy.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops on social and health topics.
• Coordinate services with local organizations, government agencies and community leaders.
• Maintain client records and prepare program activity reports.
