Qualificações

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker with a strong community focus to join their team in Soweto, Gauteng . This essential role involves providing direct social work services to individuals, families, and community groups facing various social challenges, including poverty, abuse, and health issues. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, offering counseling, and connecting clients with appropriate resources and support systems within the Soweto community. This position requires a deep understanding of social welfare issues, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to social justice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference and possess the ability to work effectively within a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of individuals, families, and community groups.
• Develop and implement comprehensive social work intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to clients experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.

Requirements
