About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and diligent Social Care Support Worker to assist vulnerable individuals within the Queenstown, Eastern Cape community. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating, mobility).
• Assist clients with medication reminders and basic health support as per care plans.

• Offer emotional support, companionship, and a listening ear to clients.
• Monitor client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided and client progress.

Requirements

• A qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is advantageous.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
