About the Role

Our client, a major operator of energy generation facilities, is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee their plant in Vereeniging, Gauteng . This crucial role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operation of the power generation facility. You will lead a team of engineers, technicians, and operators, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of power plant operations within the Gauteng region. The role is strictly site-based, offering a dynamic and hands-on management experience in Vereeniging .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of plant operations, including power generation, maintenance, and safety.
• Ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency and meets production targets.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
