Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years site management experience in renewable energy or infrastructure.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the construction and development of renewable energy projects in the Mossel Bay region. This role demands strong leadership and a deep understanding of construction methodologies, health and safety, and project management within the energy sector . You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key position for driving the successful execution of our sustainable energy initiatives in the Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations on renewable energy project sites.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient coordination and performance.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
• Control site costs, manage material procurement, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
