Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to oversee operations at multiple project sites around Pretoria, Gauteng. The role emphasizes day-to-day management, progress, quality workmanship, and strict safety adherence.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of supervisory experience in construction, be proficient at reading blueprints, and coordinate labor, subcontractors, and material deliveries while traveling between sites in the Pretoria area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Site Manager or supervisory experience in construction.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel between sites in the Pretoria area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities and personnel, including direct labor and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement detailed site-specific work plans and schedules.
• Ensure the quality of workmanship meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations on site at all times.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
• Manage site resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients regarding site progress and issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, incident logs, and timesheets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly.
