Placements24 is seeking a Site Development Civil Engineer to join our team in Soweto, South Africa. The role focuses on planning, design, and execution of land development projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

You will coordinate site layouts, utilities, grading, and drainage to ensure compliant and functional developments. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, EIT or professional registration, and at least 4 years' experience in site development

Responsibilities

• Design site layouts, grading plans, and utility systems for land development projects

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Site Development Civil Engineer to join their team in Soweto. This role is essential for the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will be responsible for coordinating site layouts, utility services, grading, and drainage to ensure projects are compliant, functional, and aesthetically sound. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project facets simultaneously. Key Responsibilities

• Design site layouts, grading plans, and utility systems (water, sewer, stormwater) for land development projects.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare preliminary designs and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with utility companies, government agencies, and other consultants.

Requirements
