Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Site Engineer to support civil engineering projects on site in Soweto. The role bridges design and implementation, overseeing daily operations, managing resources, and ensuring progress meets schedule and quality standards.

You will work with construction teams and project managers to achieve project success, applying problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction site supervision.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and site management practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily construction activities on civil engineering sites.
