Job summary

A well known construction company in the Western Cape is looking for an experienced Site Clerk to join their dynamic team.

You will handle site administration, plan orders, manage PPE, attendance Registers, and safety documentation while ensuring compliance with HSE standards. Prior construction exposure and a Grade 12 certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of Site Clerk experience in construction.
• Grade 12 Senior Certificate; NC/Diploma in Office Admin preferred.
• Experience with Health, Safety and Environment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process various administrative requirements and controls for site activities.
• Create a forward plan of orders and ensure requisitions are timeously processed.
• Ensure adequate PPE is sourced and in place.
• Manage Attendance Registers to ensure payments/wages are correctly calculated.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks.
• Ensure that all site-specific requirements for Health, Safety and Environment are in place.
• Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment Files are in place and available for inspection.
• Liaise with Staff in terms of their own Health and Safety and ensure that any requirements are timeously addressed.
• Maintain proper and accurate document controls.
