Placements24 is seeking a practical and experienced Site Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities for infrastructure projects in East London, South Africa. This field-based role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within the Eastern Cape region.

You will be the primary technical on-site contact, coordinating resources, trades, and site activities while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering construction supervision.
• P.E. (Pr Eng) or Pr Tech Eng registration is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of site safety management systems (e.g., OHS Act).
• Proven leadership and communication skills for managing site teams.
