Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a site-based Emergency Medical Services (ALS) professional to attend to on-site emergency calls and provide medical care within the scope of practice. The role requires readiness, quick decision-making, and adherence to HPCSA guidelines.

Appointment is contingent on completing physical fitness and medical assessment; you will work in a dynamic environment serving site-based clients and ensure documentation through Patient Report Forms.

Qualifications

• ALS qualification and registration with HPCSA.
• Minimum 1 year ALS operational experience.
• Desirable 2 years ALS operational experience.

Responsibilities

• To ensure operational readiness for emergency calls.
• To administer patient care in line with the scope of practice.
• To provide professional emergency services to site-based clients.
• To provide basic shift administration services.
