Qualifications

• Successful completion of BAA / BLS course that allows registration with the HPCSA as BAA.
• Current registration with the HPCSA/Professional Board of Emergency Care Personnel as a BLS.
• A valid PRDP for passengers and a valid Code 08 driver's license.
• Must be over 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients requiring responsive level of care in accordance with HPCSA BLS guidelines.
• Maintain 100% compliance with medico-legal documentation and HPCSA standards.
• Administer pharmaceutical interventions per approved clinical guidelines when needed.
