Job summary

African Leadership Academy is seeking a Learning & Engagement Program Specialist to design and deliver signature hosted programs such as the Global Scholars Program, School Visits, and conferences. You will write compelling proposals, craft curriculum, and manage logistics to ensure safe, engaging, and inspiring participant experiences.

The role involves coordinating with schools, delegates, and partners, developing program packs, and building evaluation tools to continuously improve offerings.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree required.
• 4+ years' experience in leadership or educational programming (youth programming a strong plus).
• Proven proposal-writing skills with strong written and oral communication, editing, and proofreading.

Responsibilities

• Design & deliver signature programs, including curriculum design and logistics for School Visits and Holiday Programs.
• Support writing proposals for partner schools and programs, including funding proposals for major conferences.
• Plan and manage logistics for flagship events like the Model African Union conference, travel and accommodation, and guest invitations.
• Capture impact stories and compile post-program reports with learnings forNewsletter and social channels.
