Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in Potchefstroom is seeking a dedicated retail associate to handle POS operations, promote clubcard memberships and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will ensure accurate scanning, payment handling, and compliance with cash controls while maintaining merchandising standards and promoting promotions to drive sales.

Qualifications

Desirable: customer-facing experience in a retail/FMCG store operations environment.
Knowledge: Basic maths calculations and stock management understanding.
Knowledge: Customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

To efficiently execute all operational activities at POS in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high accuracy when scanning merchandise and processing payments, including clubcard rewards.
To ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
To promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve targets.
To inform customers of promotions to boost sales and enhance their shopping experience.
To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, visible and professional.
To execute and maintain merchandising and housekeeping to store standards.
To support the group’s vision of Clicks as the first-choice health and beauty retailer.
To stay updated on products, ranges, promotions and events to provide accurate information.

To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
To proactively promote the Clicks' clubcard and to enroll new clubcard members in order to achieve the clubcard participation targets.
To make customers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales and to ensure customers "feel good and pay less".
To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.
To efficiently execute and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
