Placements24 in Welkom, Free State, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of goods at our client's facility. You will verify orders, prepare shipments, maintain records, and coordinate with logistics partners in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior shipping/receiving experience, forklift certification, and strong computer skills to keep accurate shipment records. This on-site role offers full-time hours with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role.
• Ability to operate forklift and warehouse machinery.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, verifying contents against purchase orders and sales orders.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests for all outgoing orders.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
• Maintain organized storage of received goods and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move and stage materials.
