Job summary

SHERQ and Sustainability Integration Executive in Johannesburg seeks a senior leader to own SHERQ and sustainability strategy, aligning policy with regulatory expectations and business goals. The role requires driving TIMS certification, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration to safeguard health, safety, and environmental performance.

You will lead supplier quality initiatives, participate in external committees, and report to the Board on governance, risk and compliance metrics.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of SHERQ management experience with focus on sustainability and environmental management.
• Experience leading sustainability initiatives and obtaining relevant certifications is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and drive the SHERQ & sustainability strategy with HR & SHERQ Director.
• Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality and strategic targets.
• Drive improvements in SHERQ processes and systems for high safety, health and quality standards.
• Monitor and adapt SHERQ & Sustainability strategy based on market trends.
