Job summary

Helderberg Personnel CC is seeking an experienced SHE professional to support the Operations Director in Firgrove. You will implement and maintain the SHE management system, ensuring compliance with OHS regulations and customer requirements, and lead audits and training initiatives.

The role focuses on hazard identification, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of safety practices across operations, with a strong emphasis on contractor safety and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level safety qualification or higher.
• Experience with HIRA and incident investigations.
• Solid understanding of OHS Act and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and improve the SHE management system.
• Monitor legal and customer requirements; prepare for audits (SMETA where applicable).
• Coordinate SHE inductions, training and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents and identify root causes; implement corrective actions.
