Job Description

This role will have 2.9.2 or 2.15.1 appointment in terms of the MHSA, Act 26 of 1996, and will supervise the vertical shaft as part of the logistics process

The Focus For This Role Will Be To

• Scheduling of tasks for the shift team in the area
• Veto on individual resources on their shift in the area
• Changing tasks and machine settings on the shift to minimize the effect of unexpected problems
• Stopping the operation if the working conditions are unsafe
• Identifying employees suitable for further training
• Disciplining of employees to agreed parameters and procedures

Qualifications

• Onsetter Certificate
• Certificate: ABC for Engineering or ABC for Mining

Experience Required

• Logistics experience with three years relevant mining experience
