Job summary

Emeris (an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education) is seeking a sessional worker to lecture part-time in Supply Chain Management at the Pretoria Campus. Lectures run Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with CV and transcripts requested.

Independent contractor role prioritizes SA citizens and residents in Pretoria. Minimum qualifications include an Honours in SCM or related field; experience lecturing SCM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
• Or Honours in a business field with SCM to a third-year level.
• Or Bachelor's degree with SCM to the third-year level plus MBA/MBL or postgraduate diploma in business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures in Supply Chain Management.
• Prepare and assess student work; manage class schedules.

The IIE’s Emeris, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy for a Sessional Worker (Part-time Lecturer): Supply Chain Management

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum qualification Honours degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
  
• Or Honours in one of the Business-related fields (Operations, Supply Chain or Logistic Management) - With Supply Chain Management to a third-year level.
• Or bachelor's degree with Supply Chain Management or similarly related fields (Operations, Supply Chain or Logistic Management) With Supply Chain Management to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA/MBL or a postgraduate diploma in business.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Work experience as a Supply Chain or Logistics professional or manager for a company, group or as an individual.
  
• Lecturing experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
