Job summary

Emeris Pretoria Campus, an educational brand of The IIE, seeks a Sessional Worker (Part-time Lecturer) to teach Labour Law. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, plus practical legal experience.

Minimum qualifications include a SA LLM or a 4–5 year law degree. Teaching at tertiary level and LEAD module delivery are preferred. Lectures run 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday; position is Independent Contractor.

• Experience teaching law modules at tertiary level
• A practicing attorney, advocate, legal advisor, magistrate, or judge or otherwise in the legal profession, commissioner at CCMA, a Bargaining Council (BC)

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Practical work experience relating to the relevant module. Teaching law modules at tertiary level. Teaching law modules for LEAD (Legal Education and Development)A practicing attorney, advocate, legal advisor, magistrate, or judge or otherwise in the legal profession, commissioner at CCMA, a Bargaining Council (BC)

  Note: The incumbent's experience will be a guiding factor to be taken into consideration

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
