Emeris, an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), has a vacancy for a Sessional Worker (Part-time Lecturer): Contract Law at the Pretoria Campus.

Lecturers must deliver contract law modules, maintain professional standards, and support learners within an Independent Contractor role between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. Applications should include transcripts and IDs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Teaching law modules at tertiary level.
• Experience with LEAD (Legal Education and Development).
• Practising attorney, advocate, or legal advisor is advantageous.

• Deliver Contract Law modules to students as a sessional lecturer.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• IDEAL: South African LLM.
• South African 4 or 5-year law degree - LLB or B.Proc, BA (Law) or B.Com (Law) LLB

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• Practical work experience relating to the relevant module. Teaching law modules at tertiary level. Teaching law modules for LEAD (Legal Education and Development). A practicing attorney, advocate, legal advisor, magistrate, or judge or otherwise in the legal profession, commissioner at CCMA, a Bargaining Council (BC Note: The incumbent's experience will be a guiding factor to be taken into consideration

Working Conditions

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
