Emeris, a Pretoria campus educational brand, invites applications for a Sessional Worker (Part-time Lecturer) in Business Management. Lecturers will deliver classes between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday, as Independent Contractors. Candidates should hold an Honours in Business Management or related field, with lecturing or management experience relevant to strategic, operations, or entrepreneurship topics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures for Business Management topics between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.
• Prepare course materials and assessments for enrolled students.
• Engage in student support and assessment activities in an independent contractor framework.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• IDEAL: Honours in Business Management/ Strategic Management or Entrepreneurship.
• Alternatively: Honours in one of the Business Management related fields (eg. Entrepreneurship, contemporary, general, strategic, project, supply chain/logistics management) with management to the third year of an undergraduate degree.
• Or A Bachelor degree with Business Management or similarly related field (eg. Entrepreneurship, contemporary, general, strategic, project, supply chain/logistics management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA/MBL or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in general, contemporary and/or strategic management/ entrepreneurship/ risk management/ supply chain and or logistics management/ project management.
  
• Work experience as a general or strategic manager/ risk management/ entrepreneurship/ supply chain management/ project management.
• Being involved in the process of analysis and the components and functions of optimisation in the operational process (Theory of Constraint).

Working Conditions:

• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
