Sabenza IT Recruitment is seeking a Server Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure. The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic tech environment.

The candidate should hold CompTIA Server+, ITIL Foundation, MCSE and MCP certifications with VMware, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune and Windows Server 2008-2019 experience. Onsite for 3 months in Centurion, then hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Must hold CompTIA Server+, ITIL Foundation, MCSE and MCP or equivalent certifications.
• Extensive experience administering Windows Server environments and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, and server hardware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in IT operations and infrastructure support.

Job Title: Server Engineer

Seeking a skilled Server Engineer with expertise in Wintel systems. Join the team to design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability. Position type: Permanent (Onsite for first 3 months in Centurion, then hybrid model will apply)

Minimum Qualifications:

• CompTIA Server+
• ITIL Foundation
• Diploma/Degree in information technology or A+, N+
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• MCP, Windows servers 2008/2012/2016

Knowledge and Experience:

• Maintain and excel in an IT environment that manages 2000+ endpoints (Server, Desktop, Laptop)
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and 2019
• Sound knowledge of operating system platforms as well as areas like VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
• Strong technical abilities allow this role to be hands-on in correcting the configuration of the service
• Working experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support
• Understanding of several diverse areas ranging from physical server maintenance to virtual server infrastructure
• Knowledge of Windows 2008 / 2012 / 2016 operating system
• SCOM and Microfocus Ops Bridge integration
• SCCM and Intune integration
• Working knowledge of a call logging system
• Experience in hardware skills (server and network)
• Change Management
